The story+
Applique is cut-cloth work — small pieces of red cotton laid onto the black body and stitched down by hand, rather than printed or embroidered. It gives an edge you can feel with a fingertip. A good choice if you want something with more presence than plain white but still want to stay cool.

Care & repair+
Wipe with a dry cotton cloth after a humid day and condition leather twice a year — we include a tin of our beeswax balm with every leather piece. Keep jute out of prolonged damp and air it in the shade, never in direct Dhaka sun. Any seam that opens, we restitch free of charge, forever.
